Who We Are

The OPG Association is an international non-profit association and reports 45+ members come from 10 countries.

It was born in 2022 to contribute to the modernization and decarbonization of electricity grids.

The association has implemented 7 technical committees with 270 involved people.

In 2024, it has acquired Legal Personality to better pursue its mission and it has adopted an Antitrust Code of Conduct.

Mission

On Power Grids, international association, is a participative environment where the Members (Distributor System Operators, Suppliers and Manufacturers, Research Institutes and other industry players and stakeholders) can freely consult and adopt the standard specifications, proposing introduction of new ones, contributing to their continuous improvement to accelerate the spread of more efficient, safe, and sustainable power grids.
