Why OPG

On Power Grids Association is an open ecosystem that brings together grid operators, manufacturers, research institutes and other players in the electricity to accelerate the developement of safer, more efficient, and sustainable power grids through shared Functional Specifications for power distribution systems and their components.

OPG Community

All associated members can propose in an open and collaborative way new or alternative standard specifications which will be discussed and validated through a transparent process of validation

OPG Standard

The members can freely consult and adopt the OPG standards for their purposes, but also propose the introduction of new ones, contributing to their continuous improvement.

A digital platform that host and provides to the members of the Association all the On Power Grids Functional Specifications of both components and network modules.
